At the Dollar Tree, the pregnancy tests are up by the cashier with the gum, batteries, and travel packs of wet wipes they're hoping you'll suddenly decide you need. Who impulse buys a pregnancy test? "Well, I think I've got all the cheap plastic crap I need for today--wait! I might as well go ahead and find out if I'm pregnant."

P.S. I am not pregnant. Unless the test is not worth the dollar I paid for it.

  1. That is an odd place to keep the pregnancy tests! And for that price, maybe they aren't too accurate?? Good luck!

  2. I actually used these the last time around, and spent a good 30 minutes searching the store for them! I couldn't believe it when I finally found them by the checkers. I bought a few, and surprisingly they worked! Although after 3 positives dollar tree ones, I did send my husband to Target to buy the real deal just to make sure. ;-)

  6. Perhaps to prevent theft? Either way, glad to hear you're not pregnant. Unless you are trying that is...

  7. I think I'd be a tad suspicious of a preggers test at the Dollar Store. I think if the news were so important to me, I'd invest the time and money in a trip to CVS or Walgreens!

  8. Here in England, they have been known to keep constipation tablets at the front counter. Like you'd be standing in the queue and go 'actually, I do feel a bit bunged up . . . '
Many thanks for your visit on my SITS day, I really do appreciate your visit. Really like you blog too (that pink mask is priceless!)

  11. OK, now the second post is making more sense. I was beginning to worry that I haven't been reading you closely enough.
