Me, new and improved

Blogging tonight because I spent Mr. Blue's nap time doing the budget instead of writing or reading blogs. Also because my husband keeps watching parts of horrible movies (Center Stage 2: Turn It Up--wth, dude?) and Miss Pink is treating it as her personal mission in life to keep tickling me.

Now the kids are arguing. Which is about 90% of the time, these days.

Can you tell it's been a long week?

At least I have chocolate chip cookies in my stomach. That covers a multitude of wrongs. Back to what I was going to blog about...

I am terrible at doing any kind of series. I keep forgetting that I'm supposed to post on that day. But here is an effort to revive the questions from a book called If.

If you could permanently alter one thing about your physical appearance, what would you change?

That's easy--I'd get rid of my cellulite. I'm not overweight, but I still have cellulite and I hate it. It's the one time dimples aren't cute. Even liposuction doesn't get rid of it, either. So I can only get rid of it in a fantasy world.

What about y'all--what would you change?

(Justin is now watching Sabrina--a step up as far as movies go, and I wouldn't have thought it would keep Mr. Blue's attention, but there are no kids screaming--so far, so good.)

  1. I would change everything from the neck down, but I HATE my knees.

  2. *Hi-5* Chocolate Chip Cookies do cover a multitude of wrongs for me too! *wink*

For me, its definitely my teeth. They are not straight and flat at the end, quite pointy...*Urgghhh*

  3. I used try not to dwell on a question like this because when I would start thinking about it, there are so many things I'd do, and then I would just get depressed. But these days I'm old enough to where my self esteem isn't tied up in my appearance. Well, at least not entirely.

If I were to think about this question, though, I'd say that I would change the shape of my chin (the only plastic surgery I've ever seriously considered), remove the two moles I have on my face, make my ears smaller and my neck not so long, and my eyes larger and my lips fuller and my nose smaller. But yeah, I don't really think about it much. ;-)

  4. I would want to be thinner. Or smaller feet. Either one.

  5. My fingers...I fancy I have long skinny fingers...and I do...but the curse of arthritis has put a few bumps in the road, so I'd shed the bumps!!
I loved Sabrina....the one with Audrey Hepburn...

  6. One thing only? - Then nice even, straight, no gap, no filling, white teeth it is!

  7. I would totally change the pooch of my stomach. I mean just a flat stomach (even still with the stretch marks), not even a 6-pack or anything. Oh and the muffin top. That could go before the stomach!

  8. I would love long skinny fingers. Right now I have short sausagey (if that's a word) ones. They aren't pretty!
    p.s. love your blog.

  9. I'd get me a nice chin. I've a little chin which makes me very sad.
